A/C maintenance by the home owner

I always get asked by the homeowner what they can do as preventative maintenance on their a/c system. The only thing you can do, and it's highly important, is to replace your air filters often (between 2-3 months) and if accessible, pour a cup of bleach down your drain line.

Replacing your filters results in keeping your coils clean, making you avoid the costly repair of getting your coils chemically cleaned and also makes your system run at its highest efficiency.

Pouring bleach down your drain line breaks up any gunk buildup in your drain line and keeps it free and clear, preventing it from clogging up and getting water overflowing onto your ceiling or floor.

  3. Air conditioning company Tampa Bay started this business when he realized he was a contractor and rather working for another contractor he could start a business and provide jobs to many people looking for work. That is exactly what happened and today he employs great people who take ownership of their part in the company and know how important the service industry is to the community they live in.
